What is Hady?
Hady linguistically means "offering." In Islamic terminology, it generally refers to the animals sent to the Haram to be sacrificed within its boundaries.
Hady can also be offered outside of Hajj — a practice so neglected it has been called a forgotten Sunnah. You do not need to be in Makkah, in ihram, or performing a pilgrimage to send one.
"I used to weave garlands for the sacrificial animals of Allah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم with my own hands, and then he sent them (to Makkah), and he did not avoid anything which a person in ihram avoids until his animal was sacrificed."
